How it works

How Atomara Works

Upload a PDF. Get a verdict in seconds. Here's what happens in between.

Step 01

Upload the PDF

Drag and drop a bank statement or send it via API. We support native PDFs and scans.

Step 02

Forensic analysis

We inspect the file's metadata: which software created it, when it was modified, and whether editing tools left traces.

Step 03

Structure and math

We check the document against itself: fonts, date formats and layout must stay consistent across every page, IBAN checksums must resolve, and the arithmetic must close — opening balance + transactions equals the closing balance, line by line.

Step 04

Clear verdict

You get a fraud report with a verdict and every red flag explained — ready to attach to your underwriting or screening decision.

Why structure beats appearance

Most detectors judge how a document looks — and looks are exactly what a forger controls. We read what a viewer never shows you: which software wrote the file, whether it was re-saved over an original, whether objects inside it were touched after creation, and whether the numbers on the page agree with each other. Those traces survive a convincing-looking forgery, and they need no template of any particular bank — so the same checks work on a statement from any bank in any country.

What the fraud report looks like

  • Metadata anomalies
  • Balance math errors
  • Font & layout mismatches
